Intraoral scanner

Also in dentistry, as in many other fields, the use of technology has allowed for the refinement of certain procedures. For this reason, it is since 2019 that our practice has introduced the use of the intraoral scanner for taking impressions of the dental arches, replacing traditional impressions in most treatments.

The use of the intraoral scanner allows us to take an optical i.e. digital impression, which is rich in information and comfortable for the patient during acquisition.

The intraoral scanner does not involve the use of radiation but acquires a set of frames and processes them with special software capable of achieving high three-dimensional accuracy.
